I think the lad deserves his own thread after his performances this season. At the start of the season I had massive expectations of him because he has shown he has huge potential and he has really made the most of his opportunities. His running style is unique IMO. He takes more 'tonkings' than any other player in our team, which sounds like a bad thing on paper, but when you watch him live its obvious that its because he runs with purpose every time he take the ball up. Makes huge yards and no matter how hard he gets hit he is up before the defender. He is a very TOUGH lad!

And for every 'big hit' he takes he gives two back! It's obvious now why we had to fight off Super League clubs for his signature!!

He plays like a lad proud to represent his home town and I just hope we can keep him for a while longer. Maybe a bit premature but I think he could be the next Chris Hill!

Same here but I fear SL is calling for Sam. Sam is the next Chris Hill the sad thing is we won't get as many years out of Sam.

Salford are looking for props for next year, so I fear he might be off there.

With full time training and conditioning Sam will be a monster. He reminds me of a lot of top RL stars from here, Gerath Ellis and Sam Burgess are just two.

i rate sam very highly, and agree with the above posts, but one question. Is he really ready for sl yet, hilly has burst onto sl and taken it by scruff of the neck, but he developed into the superstar he is today by playing for us for 7 years, i really think it would benefit sam to stay with us for at the very leas another deason, am i being selfish, probably, but in all honesty i do think he would benefit greatly by staying put.
