Lots of posters here say we have a smattering of star quality but too many spot fillers/has beens who wouldn't get a game at Wigan or HKR.

Some players who fit that category that have made 1st team appearances :  Holroyd (can't knock his effort but he's not big enough) Russell Crowther Musgrove (has the attributes but can't make the 17 regularly)  Tai  Leyland Johnson  Ratchford

Hang on, are we writing off Holroyd now because we lost against Wakefield? He's only 20 FFS and holding his own against Super League opposition, many of the top forwards in RL were still playing reserves rugby at that age.

Agreed. I can only assume it to be rage bait, so trying to avoid it!

Anyway the list was "players who wouldn't get a game for Wigan or Hull KR". 

I don't believe he is big enough currently to hold a place in the 17 of an alleged title aspirant side, you think he is holding his own. Not a chance in hell he would get in Wigan's or Hull KR's pack currently. (Or are you arguing that he would?).

Hardly "dreadful" stuff and I never wrote him off nor do I seek to sound "ruthless". 

I'm not convinced it's "rage bait" either. But if you two think those players are going to deliver us a GF win, good luck to you.
