It's not so straight forward is it he left halfway through his contract leaving Smith and the team in the lurch, then Rowley's aspersions about some of Smiths players, putting their integrity in question that will have left a bitter taste.
I can understand Mickey's dilemma of take the offer now or loose it, with his future and family to consider I can now understand his decision so for all he's given I would give him his farewell.

He can hope for a send off - but he made an exit from the club leaving them with no fit hooker on the books. He's broken his promises, behaved in an underhand way and cant expect to be welcomed for it. This may be normal practice in Leigh....but its not honourable
