It's actually ridiculous when you look back to the club that he inherited from Peter Deakin, yes he got the initial planning permission done, but it was Andy who steered the ship through the incredibly choppy (and ty) waters of 2001 and 2002 when all was falling apart and the decision had been called in.
To take us from that point, with no money and some incredibly rag bag patchy teams, to the new stadium, which has already been upgraded and has been stated a template for all future sports facilities, and being a club that is now a shining example of not sitting on your ignoring competition rules, and with a team that is now consistently up there with the contenders.
The fella deserves a huge pat on the back and a hearty handshake with a massive thank you.
I hope the Supporters Trust will be able to secure a final Q&A or something with him before he leaves, they were always great fun and it was good hear about that side of the club. That story about the anonymous 'y y' letter is fantastic.
