The Wolves Under 20s belatedly get their 2012 Valvoline Cup campaign underway tonight (Thursday) when they travel to Huddersfield Giants. The game takes place at Huddersfield YMCA RUFC and kicks off at 7.30pm.

The first two games have been postponed due to frozen pitches and the young Wolves are champing at the bit to get out onto the field and put all their pre-season hard work into practice.

It is very easy to find; take Junction 23 off the M62 and follow the Huddersfield sign and it is around 1/2 mile from the motorway junction on your left hand side.

Certainly was an excellent performance in wet and windy conditions against a Huddersfield team containing Lunt, Tonks and Murphy.

This team could hand out some serious drubbings this year once the weather gets better.

Think you need to make your mind up about our youth system Rogues.

Your youth system has improved immeasurably over the last three or four years. Go back through my posts and I have been a BIG critic of the U20's for years in that it is not producing enough competition.
Last year I got a load of abuse on here for criticising the U20 system after Wire had beaten an U20 team by about 60 points. My question was then as it is now "What good did it do either team?"

Wigan have beaten Bradford tonight easily with a Bradford side that included some of their players with first team experience.

It's not Wigan or Wire fault that this is happening but it needs fixing, how I'm not sure.
