With all respect, you're no Saints, Leeds or Wigan.

You're a team, like us, building slowly and trying to peck away at the big boys. You're not dire and you're not world beaters. That puts us in a similar circle. If we want to progress we need to be seeing teams like yourselves as beatable at home. You'd look at Salford the same way if you were playing us at home.

I'd expect that, and certainly wouldn't get the hump if other fans viewed us as such.

With respect I agree. Leeds, Saints, Warrington and Wigan are trophy winners. A different league to everyone else.
However when it comes to big game experience. CC final, playoff semi' finals, playoff games in general how can you put yourself in our league?

Not to say you won't get there this season. Do it regularly and big teams will stand up and take you seriously like they do us.

Money can buy you good players but experience of constantly finishing in the top 4 like we have you can't buy. Maybe we'll both take a step forward this season.

i agree in the sense that you are an up and coming team, rebuilding so to speak, as we did, but we did that years ago with patience, hard work, and very good coaches,since then we have been consistent play off makers,getting to 2 elimination semi finals, won a league title, appeared in 2 cup finals, 4 semi finals.
no disrespect but i don't see the parallels with you, you have basically bought big name players and tried to create an insant winning team, that rarely happens in sport, who knows you might be successful in the near future and i hope you are.

but the difference between the 2 clubs couldn't be more different really, and yes you beat us at ours, you often do, you do seem to be a bit of a bogey side for us, although we have only lost once at the AJbell and that was by a single point.

but saying you should expect to beat us is a bit arrogant IMO.

I actually do see parallels between Hudds and salford, in that we once did what salford are doing, buying once great players past their best and injury plagued in the hope we could buy quick success, schofield, goulding, vievers (although I don't want to do him a disservice as he alwAys gave his all for us) Bentley etc.
It didn't work for us either. We learnt from that.
