2. A Salford full back around that time was David Evans. Couldn't pass !
Was he Ieuan Evans dad ?

I am sure that David Evans was signed from Rochdale Hornets and I don't think that he was Ieuan Evans dad.
He couldn't pass as you say but did some mesmerising runs from full back.

Strangely enough Ieuan was studying Geography at Salford University when he first joined Lanelli, just what may have been?

And David Evans middle name was Iuean.
Honestly.

Was there ever any truth in the rumour that we had the chance too sign either Ieuan Evans or Adrian Hadley?

The joke was that we'd mixed up the numbers and thought we'd signed Evans but Hadley turned up
