I couldn't believe my eyes when i saw Kevin Brown's fist connect beautiful onto Matty Smith's jaw ( i think it was Smith ) in the closing minutes of last weeks game at the Etihad. It wasn't Brown's assault what disgusted me it was the lack of back up our player recieved and Sidlow watched it happen yards away from the incident and did absolutley nothing to back him up. No wonder Smith wants a move with big galoot's like Sidlow in our pack.

Unforgivable Sidlow and the rest of the pack for not even approaching the incident.

Is this the same Kevin Brown that got banned for a high shot on Adam Sidlow in the 80th minute? Did he punch Smith too and everybody - referee, linesmen, disciplinary panel who were seeing him about something else, the salford pack, me, the commentators - except you missed it? I take it you are genuinely a troll as opposed to a fan?

So it was the big galoot what got smacked, i thought it was Smith from where i was sat. Still no retaliation or back up from the pack.

It was a high tackle on one of the pack. what do you want, our pack starting a brawl every time there's a high tackle? Just watched it again. It was pretty bad but no worse than you see in many games. Sidlow did the right thing, just got up and got on with the game which we were seconds away from winning. If he (or any of the other cowards) had retaliated and been spotted by the ref and Hudds had got a penalty in the last minute and scored off it, what would your reaction have been then?

If your eyesight is so bad that you can't tell the difference between Sidlow and Smith it might explain the way you see the rest of the Salford world!

So our pack steam in and throw a few digs (which proves nothing anyway in the end, I'd rather hit them harder in the tackle, but anyway) then a few get binned or set off, we lose the game and we're all annoyed at that after the effort put in, then a couple of days later the RFL review the incident and, like Wigan, we lose 3 players for this week and beyond, which in tern leaves us even weaker than we already are, and you'd be happy?

Anyone who plays the game knows you don't all wade unless something is truely needed. At that point in the game Huddersfield had more to lose from any penalties so it's obvious the players did the right think.

I'd suggest that you have an agenda to destabilise the club and it's employees, I'm unfortunate enough to have a relative with mental issues and some of your ramblings seem to take a similar pattern so maybe there is room for us to forgive you - personally I'd like you to show some backbone and not hide behind a computer screen slagging all and sundry when you have plenty of oppertunities to confront the people you detest so but fail too making you yes you guessed it a coward.

The Brown shot on Sidlow was seen by the referee and dealt with immediately. The only time players should get involved is to break up fights and drag players off. In my opinion it’s harder in those situations to show restraint rather than loosing your head and pilling in with your fists.

Let me put a simple question to you DI. Would you have preferred a reaction with one or two Salford players potentially suspended for tonights match, just so our players could show you how they can handle themselves? Yes or No?

wonder who would have been the first to start a thread blaming the club staff for signing dumb players for getting involved in a unnecessary brawl when the game was almost won ?
