Does anyone know of any players that we are looking into for next year ?
I know its a bit early to be thinking this but seeing as other teams are starting to announce signings for next year i.e fitzgibbon to hull and soliola to saints I was wondering if anyone had any news ?

them combined form a backbone to a team for the future, losing 5 players of this potential would be disasterous

i also would look at getting goulding to sign for more than this year
throw in, jewitt, mcgilvery and nash we have a squad that can mature and develop as a team

I agree, I think the priority should be keeping our young guy's not signing in new tallent. If we could get a perminant contract for Goulding that'd be gr8 too.

That should be a priority but there are still areas where we need to strengthen. and there a few players in the squad where this could be there last season with the club

As in players that aren't good enough for the club? or too good? or just getting too old?

hopefully too old and not good enough. As for the other of being too good, if they can see whats happening with the club for the good i.e our new stadium (whenever that is) and the talent thats emerging all around hopefully they will decide to stick around for at least a little longer

I'm hoping that the lack of relegation and the fact that quality players are being given the nod on an international level from 'lower' clubs means that, barring money, the lure of 'bigger' clubs will be weakened.

If we lose the likes of Myler, Ratchford, Turner etc then we are failing off the pitch and the whole idea of clubs bringing talent through will be a joke if any club with a few quid can just whisk them away.

Here's hoping that we can keep the grubby mitts of short-sighted clubs off our young stars!
