Magic weekend at Elland road is one of the worst decisions the sport has made

I'd love to know who was responsible for that decision. In every way it's the wrong stadium for this event.

That said reportedly the Saturday will feature: Hull, Wigan, Saints, Leeds and Wire...if that doesnt sell out 38k (likely more like 35k with unreserved seats) then theres no point to this event anyway.

The downside with places like Newcastle and Cardiff are that you are in walking distance of the city's transport links and amenities. This offers nothing for people who want to be able to explore a rundown industrial wilderness, 2 miles out of the centre with limited places to eat or drink.
