| Only a sin bin for a shoulder to the head now?
He left his feet and barely made an attempt to tackle.

| Feel sorry for Wakefield. Can’t fault their effort in this game. Hull fc though look as bang average as normal and no threat to the big 2 of Saints and Wigan

| How many times did Chester say his team lacks quality in that interview? All his players worked their socks off and he comes up with that? How on earth is the guy still in a job? Is it because wakey can’t afford to sack him?

He's tendered his resignation a few times but it's never been accepted. That was a BS interview. Give an amateur side the amount of territory and possession Trinity had last night and they would've created more than one try.

| Where was the red card. A complete bottle job.
If RL is serious about head injuries, that has to be a red and a few games.
Late, to the head, no attempt to tackle whatsoever. Mind you, it probably won the game for Hull

Come on Wren, our inability with the ball won it for Hull, or lost it for Trinity. Any other team with that much possession and territory would have won comfortably.

I agree with this.
However, I also believe that, had Hull had to play the second 40 with 12 men, Trinity would have won.
Hull were gassed at the end of the game and that would have been worse had they had to cover some extra holes.
Yes, Trinity should have done more with the possession that they had in the Hull 20, no question, but, it was a sending off offence all day long but, only given as a yellow.
Hull lose a plyer for 10 minutes, Trinity lose a young lad for 4 weeks

| trinity are not a bad side , got in the habit of losing games they should win ,farimo faces a ban and should have been shown a red card but the way the game went would trinity have won if he had been off the field, they had plenty of chances, poor execution coupled with some decent scrambled defence cost them a game they should have won

We were definitely fortunate to only get a yellow, it was a really wreckless challenge by Faraimo. I expect we will be without him for a few games now. Would Trinity have won if it was a red? We'll never know for sure. It's true that we looked gassed at the end, but Trinity never looked like taking advantage during the time we were down to 12, so who's to say.
There have been a couple of comments about Hull still looking like an average team. If you take that game in isolation then we did indeed look average. But bearing in mind the extra time played last week and the quick turnaround I thought this was a gutsy effort, because we did look very tired as the second half wore on. Wakefield actually played well I thought, they took the game to us and kept coming for 80 minutes. We had our backs to the wall for long periods but we dug deep and ground out the win. It wasn't pretty, but there's no way a Radford coached Hull would have won that game in those circumstances.
I also feel Connor is trying too hard to provide all the spark in Reynolds' absence. He had some lovely touches last night but he also pushed plays that weren't there on a few occasions. It's a hard balance because Connor is often at his best when he's trying something outrageous, but I think Hodgson just needs to remind him to be a little more patient. Build pressure and the chances will come.
We need to rest up well now and get ready for Wigan. That game will be a good indicator of where we are this year.
