| Intereting that England got two backs but no forwards in there! Seems a load on nonsense to me.

| Do you think Sam Burgess and SBW would feature in this list if they'd have been in League his year?
I'm a little surprised there's no James Graham.

What did surprise me was the amount of AUSSIES in the team when you think New Zealand are number 1

| Although a little unfortunate not to have an English forward in that team, it's hard to argue against the selected players in that pack who all had fine years. With Sam returning, I believe we have the best pack in the world right now, and am hoping we can confirm it by bashing NZ and OZ in next years four nations and the World XIII will be full of Englishmen without any debate or sing from down under

| I think what happened is they got through the backs and figured there weren't enough Australians in there, so just picked the best Aussies in the remaining positions.
Jason Taumalolo, Michael Ennis, Blake Austin were named at 13, 9 and 6 in the NRL Dally M Team of the Year, yet aren't in the list above.
Four of the top five players in the voting for the Dally M (Ennis, Marshall, Woods and Hunt) aren't included. So it's a 'players with the biggest reputation who didn't necessarily quite live up to it' list? If so, if McGilvray's inclusion just a trolling attempt?

| Graham only played for half the season, and it's hard to think of any other English players who should be in there, really. It's the Kiwis who should feel aggrieved - Mannering ahead of either of the second rows, Johnson over Milford, and JWH over Scott.

As individual players, the Aussies probably do have the upper hand, but in terms of playing as a team, that's why NZ are number 1.

| The World XIII is an exercise in international diplomacy every year. Stretching a point to say that Watkins was one of the best two centres in the world in 2015 IMO.
Interesting to see two players from outside the big three nations represented though, must be a long while since that's happened if ever.
