I'm not sure they can without jeopardising the playoffs even further. Bit of a shame, the league system is easily the fairest for a single league structure...

Under the current play off system, they cant. The top two should get a shot at the GF in their first play off games.
Another way is IF they expand the WCC then the league leaders should qualify along with the GF winners IMO.

Award the prize money currently given for winning the GF to the winners of the LLS.
Clubs compete like hell for the financial rewards of finishing high up the table and then the prestige of being labelled "the best team" by winning the GF.

That would be my preference. But definitely no expansion beyond a 4 team format. |
