I agree with that. I actually like the home kit to be honest, if it is a little boring. I think with the logos on the shirt identical from year to year it's hard to make it look different when you've also got to incorporate the red vee. I would be controversial if I were Saints and get rid of it for a year. Call it a retro kit and have the red band from the Meninga era for once, just do something to break up the monotony. I can't see them selling too many of the home shirts to be honest. They could do something like Wigan, have a cycle of retro shirt, classic vee shirt, modern vee shirt.
I absolutely hate that away shirt. First impressions and all that, but it just screams Wakefield as you've put. If anything the top of the shirt would have made a better home kit. Silvery white kit, shallow vee, looks very classy. But the red completely clashes with the Wakefield blue colour. I suppose it doens't help when the colour and texture of the shirt and shorts is so different, just screams cheap.

i expect a shocker from wigan this year "experimental year". But i was only joking it does mimic a wakefield kit but still a nice kit probably better if the blue was black but its still alright. I like the home shirt tho.

| It's a bit "meh", for me.
Without going for a crazy colour scheme on the away kit (anyone remember orange and teal?) or something ultra retro on the home kit as Saddo suggested, then it wasn't going to raise many eyebrows.
On the plus point, I'm looking forward to seeing Flash back in action next year.

| I really liked the orange and teal one. Just a pity we need to wait another 80 odd years before we can wear the blue and white one again.
Home is passable, away is horrible.

| When I first saw the away shirt I thought it was awful. I have to admit it has grown on me and watching the video puts it in a different light for some reason - cannot explain why! I suppose an away shirt all the same colour has been done the past couple of years, but I think if it was all blue with a red vee it would look much better.
The home one has FAR too much red on it for me. A saints traditional home kit is white with a red vee, this design appears to be red with a white front. If the shoulders were not red then I think it would look much better too.
The last couple of years I think the shirts have been really nice, but I'm a bit unsure over 2014's.

I like the home kit but don't really like the away kit.
I like us having black away kits for some reason.
