In a knutshell Jamie has asked not to be picked for Australia in future test matches.
That has been turned down and he must be made available if selected 
Failure to do so will not allow him to play for Manly 
So i hope he dig's his heels in and comes to Saints

Can't he just retire from 'Rep footy'!
The whole thing just seems ridiculous he's not a performing monkey if you don't want to play for your country you shouldn't have to!

i'm pretty sure he retired from rep rugby last year.
I doubt that the NRL have any legal standing to "Make" him play for NSW or the Kangaroos, and his contract will only be to play for Manly.
The one thing we know is that he seems to hate politics and that could indeed play into our hands come the day he has to make a decision on his playing career.

His his decision, I agree. I thought he'd retired from NSW last year anyway. |

Its obvious that he is now edging towards a return to super league. His comments before the world club challenge confirm that hes not happy at manly or in aussie.
Not sure if they can force him to play for his country but then again i havent read his contract.
