Is it me or was Kieron Cunningham watching a completely different game to me last night ?

He has to say something - can't see him seeing the season out tbh

Unless they win something, which seems unlikely, I think Saints have given up the right to be involved in this comp for a while tbh. Give their place to a Hull or something - at least there would be a decent crowd.

They should have drug tested him - he definitely sounded like he was on something!!

On last nights performance Saints would not have got with 12 points of the current Superleague's bottom club!!!!

T'was a bizarre interview and almost on a par with some of McDermott's early efforts (yellow rubber gloves notwithstanding).

Credit to Saints, they reduced the margin from last year.

The bounce of the ball, refereeing decisions etc had nothing to do with the result though. I know from speaking to Saints fans there's an enormous frustration with the way they play under Cunningham though, which might get covered over by good results but if they don't start picking up wins I can see him gone before Magic Weekend.

Think they need to announce one or two impressive signings this year to at least offer something to their fans to look ahead to in 2017. Quite a few underwhelming signings there recently, a bit like us early days McDermott with the likes of Richard Moore, Ben Cross, Weller Hauraki etc but then got our act together with the likes of Moon, Briscoe, Cuthbertson and Ferres.

It was utterly bizarre from Cunningham. I hope he was trying to manage his teams emotions and was just really bad at it. If he really means what he says then Saints have big problems. But either way he's made himself look very foolish.

I'm not sure, seems to be a reoccurring theme with his post match interviews. I know on the Saints board they were critical of his comments after the Salford game and some of our wins against them last year his interviews I thought sounded poor.

In terms of post match interviews he's becoming the worst in the league which is saying something considering some of the other coaches.
