| I doubt Page will be leaving the NRL, he'll be very much in demand even if Canberra don't want him. Shillington is probably Super League bound.

| Haven't seen much of Page, but a 24 year old who hasn't played first grade yet and is getting a lot of attention off the back of sixty seconds of carries on Youtube rings all kinds of alarm bells.
Shillington would be a good, solid signing. Presumably his representative days are behind him so there's a good chance he'll come to the UK.

| Shillington will be 32/33 by the time next season rolls around, and he's injury prone. I'd stay well clear to be honest. If we're going to go spend big on an NRL prop, then I'd like to see us try and sign Snowden or Myles.

| This country has no problem producing good props. If we are going overseas it should be for either a world class player, or they type we just don't produce, so either a Thaiday or an Ali type back rower. Some club is going to pay an absolute fortune for Shillington and get a relatively middling SL prop.

| Would love to see thaiday in a Leeds shirt, or Hargreaves, snow dens not bad either. As said above unless we're getting world class or Origin or there abouts what's the point.

| Thaiday is completely unrealistic. No origin player is going to come to super league, playing origin is where all the big$ is in this sport. A past his best, but still good Shillington, or a yet to make a name for himself Page is all super league can attract now the NRL is flush with cash.

Really which props in super league are available to replace JP for 2016 as good as Shillington?

You can't replace JP.
However, Singleton is doing a very good job in picking up slack this year.
I don't crave a prop from the NRL. I look forward to watching Singleton develop and I hope to see Mulhern and maybe Baldwinson emerge.

Thaiday maybe tempted by a big enough offer, he'll be 30 soon and has achieved all he can in Aus so he may fancy a crack at SL.

i agree regarding an nrl prop and unless we could lure a thaiday type player with plenty to offer for 3 years, then i wouldn't waste the cash on a journeyman prop like ben cross just because he's from the nrl and he has an aussie twang
mulhern has real potential and he is one tough kid,he was outstanding against the aussie schoolboys and they had some very big and talented kids that were signed to nrl clubs.
i would love to see him play a few games this season for the rhinos
baldwinson is getting some very good reviews at fev this year also and if he can get another season at that level next year then he should be worth a shot to prove himself in 2017
