After a great game against Bradford, I am full of confidence for this one and think we will pull it out of the bag. With Carl Ablett back in the frame ( www.therhinos.co.uk/news/10599.php) were starting to get the whole squad back together, bar Peacock and Eastwood (not including Donald due to Smith return).

FWIW if Ablett is fit I'd drop Krke from last night's 17.

Kirke looks like a passenger at the moment, and Ablett will need match fitness. Catalans should be there for the taking with one day less rest, Mogg gone, Walker suspended and Bosc (recently?) back from injury.
Also think Leeds will take alot from last night's comeback.

I am looking forward to the return of ablett, I think he has been a very under rated player for the last few years. What's wrong with pitts I liked the look of him, think that both offer more than kirke at the moment

kirke does seem to have gone off the boil this season. didn't he have an op and miss most of pre-season? if so he may have been put in earlier than he should because of injuries.
either way it will be good to have ablett back. if we can win the next 2 games we will be right back in there.

You would thinks so but it is a poor time, catalans will start to come good soon, hopefully not against us! Also short turn around and the travel will be a factor, but hope we can pull it off. I think Kirke did have a op pre season, but do not know how much pre season training he missed?

We've had the extra day and plus they have to travel aswell which is as bad for them as us with the short turnaround.
If they can take the confidence and quality from that last 20 and get a good start i think we should be comfortable but as we know other than the Quinns match at HQ we haven't looked so comfortable thus far but i'm hoping we come out firing and start the climb back up the league. |

Have you heard any update on the condition of the pitch in France, someone told me that they had the water fairy's draining the pitch due to it being waterlogged. With the traveling catalans are used to it week in week out, we might suffer slightly, but still feel confident we can win
