I think he would be a quality signing and to just judje him on last nights preformance would be silly, the conditions were horrible and he is still very young.

i would agree on that. i think he will become a really good player,although i'm not sure he will reach the very top level

I would sign him in an instant, however it has allways been my belief he should stay at Cas for the good of the game.

Shenton would make an excellent addition at Leeds. English, young, experience of playing left and right and shown an ability to do both.

Why would he want to leave Castleford though? He has already shown them loyalty despite two relegation seasons, will already be one of Castleford's highest earners, under contract, well coached with a proposed new ground to look forward to.

Just changing the subject slightly, Jodie Broughton has just scored a nice try for Hull, playing on the wing though. Maybe we can look forward to:

Jones-Bishop, Broughton, Smith, Watkins, Hall

in a few years time?

I believe Michael Shenton has signed a four year contract just last year for us at Cas so he should be there up to at least then.

That only means he will command a fee....

therefor he won't be coming to Leeds

Leeds were offered Shenton in the off season and rejected him - so I don't see us signing him anytime soon - plus having David Howes as your agent makes it tough to get a gig with the Rhinos

both times I've seen him play when I've made a point of watching him he's made significant errors which have handed the opposition team meaningfull advantage.

But that's just two games out of however many he's played for Cas.
