One contentious thread to another - what would your team be for the big day?

Difficult to say with two big games before the final , we will do well to escape injury free but if we do it’s a tough one . I am a massive inman fan and I think he should play but Grix will no doubt go for the experience of Moore . I would also be tempted to play Fleming off the bench has an impact prop who I do think as gone well since his return. Lannon was a big miss against Batley away and I think he will have a big impact . Assuming crooks is cup tied maizen should get his chance, if him walmsley , pickersgill, or woody get some space on the big Wembley pitch they could cause some damage.

On the proviso that everyone who is eligible is fit, the same as yesterday’s with the biggest decisions involving the 1, 9 and half back slots.

Tough on Pickers but Woody at 1, Tom at 7 with Brandon and AB at 9 and the interchange.

Not sure about the team but going to be weird with every man and his dog apart from 1k Fax fans cheering for Batley. Usually you can expect some neutrals but Batley seem like everyones second team.

I will be there cheering Fax on , for Faxers like Hudd Shay,Bentleyman,Dave Grayson,and in remembrance of Halifaxjohn who I will raise a glass to.

Has anybody heard about what TV coverage there is, if any.

Haven't heard owt but i presume it'll be same as the semi final on Our League.

I don’t think the game was broadcast anywhere last year bar the OurLeague app.

The 1895 cup final was definitely televised has I remember watching it , but last year it was before the cc final . Sure it was bbc red button as I was moaning about the female commentary.

Wonder how many tickets we get allocated? Would be good to take a large following down and as a bonus getting to watch a couple of different teams in the curtain raiser before the main event will hopefully encourage a few more to go that maybe would not have if we had the usual suspects in the final.

So because of the soon to be scrapped via play we host Fev at home on the Monday night and then 5 days later on the Saturday Batley at Wembley.
Grix will just say it is what it is taking one game at a time and anything can happen in terms of results.
With Eagles this week we’ll need all our squad for a crucial defining phase of the season.
