Sorry, but this isn't a great signing for me...I think he is a liability.... but we have to trust the job MC/MH are doing...

I agree, not a signing that makes me feel the excitment building for next season, BUT we've questioned some signings recently (Holroyd's return?) and they've turned out ok so lets hope this is the same.

Not convinced he is an upgrade over anyone we currently have but I trust Martin and Matt so we will see how it goes.

I disagree,think Jim is an ideal experienced prop to lead our expected younger pack.

I am torn on this signing.

I really liked Jim the last time he was here, but on the occasions we have seen him this year, he has given away quite a few penalties, with his style.

However he is extremely experienced and a very hard worker, who could be a good person to have around the squad and a good ambassador for the younger players.

I hope its the latter. But MH and MC know what they are doing, so we will get behind him, because he is OUR player.

Will do a job for us. If were are having a young pack then having an experienced head maybe just what we need, players like Cherryholme, Maloney will definately benefit playing along side him.

I think what most fans need to hear is that some of our current squad are signing up. We are constantly hearing rumours of players going here or there, so the worry is many of our grand final winning team wont be with us in 2011.

too true; its alright bringing back the anyone who has pulled a fax shirt on in the past, but its the current squad that brought us glory and I for one would like some confirmation about players and hope a large chunk of them are with us next year. All squads need new faces, but too many can be a problem.

Id like to see a "Bulk" announcement of Re-Signings, rather than a drip feed, yes its good to have good news coming every few days, but it'd relieve that worry that some may leave if 5 or 6 were announced all at once

solid experienced prop that like said above should help some of our younger pack members. gave away penalties when frustrated that pack he was playing in not on top. but which prop he replacing, wrench?

exactly. seemed to give more penalties away in matches against fax too.
