| Both Wigan Warriors and Salford Red Devils will be missing the services of key personnel going into their opening Super Eights fixtures this coming weekend.
The RFL disciplinary had charged Warriors hooker Sam Powell for a ‘cannonball tackle’ and Lama Tasi with a ‘hit with the ‘shoulder’ during last weekends Challenge Cup semi-final game at the Halliwell-Jones.
Powell opted to take the Early Guilty Plea that was available to him and received a one game suspension meaning he will sit out the clash with the Leeds Rhinos at Headingley on Friday night.
Tasi didn't have the EGP option available and was called before the disciplinary committee where he received a one game suspension and a £300 fine. Tasi will miss the trip to Challenge Cup finalists Hull FC, also on Friday night.
